Applications are hereby requested from suitably qualified candidates through the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) for the underlisted courses in Sports.
AVAILABLE NATIONAL DIPLOMA PROGRAMMES
- NATIONAL DIPLOMA IN SPORTS COACHING & TRAINING – 2 YEARS
- NATIONAL DIPLOMA IN SPORTS MANAGEMENT – 2 YEARS
The National Institute for Sports is currently offering admission to Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) candidates for National Diploma (ND) in the above programmes accredited by the National Board for Technical Education (NABTE).
Entry Requirements:
UTME and Five (5) O’Level credit passes at one (1) sitting to include English Language, Mathematics, one(1) Science subject (Biology/Health Science /Health Education/Physical Education) and any two (2) other subjects OR six (6) O’level Credit passes at two (2) sittings to include English Language, Mathematics, one(1) Science subject (Biology/Health Science/Health Education/Physical Education) and any other three(3) subject.
Career Prospects includes:
Employment opportunities in National Sports Federations, State Sports Council, Sports Academies, Local Government/Grassroot Sports Departments, Community Development Organizations, Private Sports Clubs, Recreational Centres, Parks, Media Organization, Primary, Secondary and Tertiary Institutions as Coaches/Sports Administrators, Military and Paramilitary formations etc.
