Mr. Belmond Benson
Chief administrative officer overseeing governance, academic records and statutory compliance.
Mr. Belmond Benson serves as Registrar of the National Institute for Sports, where he is the chief administrative officer and secretary to the Governing Council. He stewards the Institute's governance, academic records, and statutory reporting to the Federal Ministry of Sports Development and the NBTE.
With more than two decades of experience in tertiary education administration, he has led major reforms in admissions, student records digitisation, and examinations management. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Corporate Administration of Nigeria.
He works closely with academic departments to ensure NIS programmes meet — and exceed — the standards expected of a federal sports tertiary institution.
