NIS, FME and Raytiding Announce Subsidised Basic Coaching Programme Across All Zones

The National Institute for Sports (NIS), in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Education (FME) and Raytiding Consulting Ltd, is set to commence a subsidised Basic Coaching Programme under the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) initiative. The programme is designed to provide participants with practical skills, professional training and certification opportunities across four key trade areas: 1. Basic Coaching 2. Basic Fitness Facilitation 3. Executive Coaching 4. Basic Groundsmanship PROGRAMME STRUCTURE The six-month programme is structured to combine theoretical learning with practical industry experience: - First Three Months: Foundation Course in Sports Coaching. - Final Three Months: Industrial Placement to provide hands-on experience and practical exposure. The programme will commence across all NIS zones.
